As a follow-up to a previous post, my cousin Rebecca passed last week 10/30. A very sad day for all who knew her. I started this entry early November after her passing. I guess I don’t know the right words. Becky will truly be missed. When you stop and think about a person and the memories you shared, you realize just how much you truly lost. She, my sister and I were house mates for several years. Although I have always had the memories, it was not until after she was gone that I began thinking back to all the things we did and the laughs we shared. We must always enjoy our family and friends and the time we spend as it will always be too short.

The cold realities of life
I visited my cousin at hospice yesterday. She was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and has been in a battle with it ever since. No remissions, just a constant fight. She is only 43 years old. It is always hard for me to grasp the reality of death, the fact that this person, this friend or loved one is not going to be there, and being a parent, it is even more unimaginable the sadness of seeing your child dying. Our toughts and prayers go out to Rebecca and her family.
Welcome
My new blog and some background. Am I crabby? Sometimes, but more so I have rants on everyday life, etc. as I am sure we all do. I am an IT Consultant, business owner, husband and father of two boys. In my everyday life, there are things irritating, absurd, ridiculous, stupid, etc. From work to driving to everyday life. For no other reason than expressing, I have started this blog and hope to update daily.
